Buffalo is the closest major airport to fly into. From there it's a 1.5hr drive. You can also fly in to Rochester, Pittsburgh, or Cleveland, all of which are 2.5hrs away.
You'll want a rental car because there's not much within walking distance and little Uber/Lyft presence.
